Our Membership Cancellation policy
Cancellation or suspension requests must be made in writing to studio@hum.yoga, and you must give at least seven days’ notice before your next payment date to suspend or cancel my membership.
Our Class policy
early cancellations (up to 3 hours before start of class). You can cancel class bookings up to 3 hours in advance only online. If you paid by class pass, your class will be credited back to your account. Your instructor will not be able to process any cancellations.
late cancellations (within 3 hours of start of class). We understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable – but cancelling late or not attending at all often stops other students from booking places in that class. If you cancel a class booking within 3 hours of the class start time, the class will not be credited back to your pass or refunded. For unlimited pass holders, late cancellations and no-shows will incur a charge of £20 per session. This will be charged to the card that your pass payment is taken from. The policy for unlimited pass holders follows a number of attempts to stop late cancellations and/or no shows. Our aim is to improve the hum yoga experience for everyone and make it easier for all students to be able to attend the classes they want to.
We ask that you please sign into class a minimum of 5 minutes prior to the class start time. If you arrive after the class has started you will not be able to attend the class as we look the door to respect everyones practise and this will be treated as a late cancellation.
If you are on an unlimited contract and you late cancel or no-show 3 times over a month period, the option to book online might be suspended for a month.
Workshop cancellations are possible until 7 days before the start of the session.
Membership freeze requests
If a membership freeze is requested on the same day as a scheduled membership payment, please note that the payment is likely to be processed before the freeze takes effect. Direct debits are typically processed between 12 AM and 3 AM on the due date, meaning the payment may leave your account before we receive and apply the freeze request.
In such cases, the payment will still cover one month's practice, which will be available to you upon unfreezing the membership. If you do not return and unfreeze your membership within the maximum allowed freeze period (three months), the membership will automatically unfreeze, and our standard cancellation policy will apply, including the requirement of seven days' notice.
