HUM Group Ltd Event Space Hire Policy

Booking Confirmation and Payment

  1. Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email. A booking is only considered confirmed once a 50% deposit of the total hire fee is received.

  2. Payment Terms: The remaining balance of the hire fee must be paid in full no later than 5 days before the event date. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as agreed upon with HUM Group Ltd.

Cancellations and Amendments

  1. Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

    • Cancellations made between 30 and 7 days before the event date will forfeit the 50% deposit.

    • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event date will be fully chargeable. The client will be responsible for paying the full balance of the hire fee.

  2. Amendments: Any changes to the booking, including date, time, or room setup, must be communicated in writing and are subject to availability. Amendments made less than 72 hours before the event may incur additional charges.

Use of the Event Space

  1. Access: Clients will have access to the event space as per the agreed timings specified in the booking confirmation. Any additional time required for setup or breakdown must be arranged in advance and may incur extra charges.

  2. Capacity: The maximum capacity of the event space must not be exceeded. Exceeding the capacity may result in the termination of the event without refund.

  3. Setup and Cleanup: Clients are responsible for their own setup and cleanup unless otherwise agreed upon. The event space must be left in the same condition as it was found. Any damages or excessive cleaning required will be charged to the client.

  4. Equipment and Decorations: Any equipment or decorations brought into the event space must be approved by HUM Group Ltd in advance. The use of candles, confetti, and other potentially damaging items is strictly prohibited.

Health and Safety

  1. Compliance: All events must comply with current health and safety regulations. It is the client's responsibility to ensure all attendees are aware of and adhere to these regulations.

  2. Security: HUM Group Ltd reserves the right to require security personnel at certain events, at the client's expense, to ensure the safety of all attendees and property.

  3. Insurance: Clients are advised to obtain appropriate event insurance to cover any liabilities or unforeseen incidents.

Additional Terms

  1. Force Majeure: HUM Group Ltd will not be held responsible for any cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

  2. Liability: HUM Group Ltd will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property during the event, except where such liability is due to our negligence.

  3. Marketing and Promotions: HUM Group Ltd reserves the right to take photographs or videos of events for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client.
